LATEST PROJECTS
Cinematography Reel
This reel showcases some of the film and video projects I've worked on recently
Time To Come Home
"Time To Come Home" is a video produced by Brave New Films. I did an interview with Kerry Myers, who was previously convicted to life in prison but was recently pardoned by the Governor of Louisiana.
Move Ahead With Ed
Move Ahead With Ed is a website that I designed for my dad's city council campaign. I took his head shots and helped him write most of the content on the website. The hardest part was taking his personal background and goals, and turning them into stories that everyone can relate to.
minimalist NOLA
minimalist NOLA is an Instagram project I started to showcase the color, texture, and culture of New Orleans streets.
ERIS Parade 2017
Scenes from a rare Mardi Gras parade, and all the great people that make it happen.
Where I went on my bike
Where I went on my bike is a social media project that I started for the New Orleans bike rental business A Bicycle Named Desire. After a customer comes back with their bike I will take their picture and upload it to Facebook and Instagram with a description of the customers bike trip. People really like it, and it put the business at the top of bike NOLA related searches.
The River Signal
The River Signal is a project by Galen Hutchkins. He piloted his river boat down the Mississippi recording folk, bluegrass, and old time musicians along the way. When he made it to New Orleans I teamed up with him to record the Dumpy Jug Bumpers.
Felicity Magazine
Felicity Magazine is New Orlean's newest fashion magazine. They asked me to photograph the cover images for their Valentines Day issue. Below is a behind the scenes video from that shoot.
Show Your
War Paint
ShowYourWarPaint.Org is a digital public archive, a living database curating photographs of the tattoos of current and former members of the United States Armed Forces. The archive is an opportunity for veterans and service members to reflect on their own identities and experiences, while giving others a window into the tattoo culture of the Armed Forces.
I was invited to take photos at their first tattoo party.
Northern Spark
Northern Spark is an art festival in Minneapolis, MN that takes place over one night, and one night only. In their second year I helped market the event. Each week I would interview a featured artist, and showcase their project. Most of the projects were not made until the day before, so I used animation to visualize the final outcome. The videos were uploaded to the Northern Spark website, and featured in local new sites, and at the
Twins baseball stadium.
